Thermostat
In order to increase the difference between the normal operating temperature of the engine and the engagement temperature for the 91~C electrical
cooling fan switch to avoid unneccessary engagement of the electrical cooling fan, a 87~C (189~F) thermostat should be installed after installation of
the 91~C (196~F) electrical cooling fan switch. The thermostat kit is available under P/N 273459-8.

Expansion Tank Pressure Cap
For an increased safety margin before boiling and loss of coolant, a 150 kpa (21.8 PSI) pressure cap, grey, should be installed, P/N 1357390-2.
NOTE:
Ensure all hose clamps for the cooling system are tight and hoses are free of wear or damage.
