Condensate from Climate Control system evaporator
To prevent entry of water into the vehicle interior, drainage of the condensate from the climate control system evaporator has been improved by
installing a hose, P/N 946645-9 (approximately 330 mm/13 inches long) between the drain hole and the existing engine compartment righthand side
member hole.
This modification was introduced on production models in week 46, 1989
Installation
Before installing the hose, ensure that the drain hole in trie bulkhead is clean, undamaged and free of any restrictions.
Cut a section of hose (as shown above). Ensure that the hose is not twisted.
