- Oxygen sensor (one-wire type only) must be replaced every 30,000 miles.

- To replace the Oxygen sensor, apply some "Never-Seize" Volvo part number 1161035-9 or equivalent to the threads of the new sensor. Make sure that
no paste enters into the slots on the tip, this will render the Oxygen sensor ineffective. Torque the sensor to 55Nm (40ft.lbs).

- An indicator light on the instrument panel is activated at 30,000 mile intervals. When the light is activated, Oxygen sensor should be replaced.
