1. Remove control system. Refer to "Hydraulic Control System Removal". See: Hydraulic Control System/Service and Repair/Hydraulic Control

System Removal

2. Remove parking pawl retaining plate and pushrod.
3. Disconnect control rod from selector link on gearbox.
4. Remove link from gear selector shaft.
