THIS BULLETIN IS APPLICABLE TO THE U.S. AND CANADIAN MARKETS
A new type pan gasket was introduced from ZF Serial Number 80302. There are no visible differences between the old and new type.
When working on transmissions below the above number, a new oil pan gasket P/N 1339793-0 should be fitted.
OIL PAN GASKET, REPLACEMENT
Drain Oil
Unscrew filler tube union and remove oil pan (sump).
Check:
-
magnetic filters are correctly positioned
-
new gasket is correctly positioned
