THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO THE U.S. AND CANADA.
1983-84 M/Y vehicles were equipped with rear calipers with 34 mm (1 11/32 in.) dia. pistons. These calipers have been superceded by rear calipers with
38 mm (1 1/2 in.) dia. pistons. When a rear caliper with a 34 mm (1-11/32 in.) dia. piston must be replaced, BOTH rear calipers must be replaced to
avoid braking imbalance. Brake backing plates have been modified to accept the new calipers and must also be replaced.
