THIS SERVICE BULLETIN APPLIES TO THE U.S. AND CANADIAN MARKETS. IT SUPERCEDES SERVICE BULLETIN GR. 25 NO. 11

If exhaust resonance (booming noise) is experienced on the D24T at idle or in a narrow speed range just above idle, it may be caused by stress at the
exhaust front mounting bracket.
A new redesigned exhaust pipe, P/N 1328440-1, was introduced from VIN #16970.
The following procedure should be used to realign the exhaust system:

loosen all exhaust system attachment points.
1.
Tighten the nuts at turbo unit.
2.
Tighten the bracket to exhaust pipe.
3.
Make sure the bracket adjustment span (oval holes) are not in contact with the bolts, tighten the bolts.

tighten the exhaust system in sequence 4 thru 7.
