Insulation of air duct over glove compartment

In extreme cases, condensation may form on the air duct over the glove compartment when the A/C system is in operation. This may cause condensation
to drip into the glove compartment when the humidity is high.

This situation may be corrected by insulating the duct.

Procedure

Remove glove compartment and outer panel nozzle.

Remove air duct.

Apply self-adhesive insulation, p/n 3537874-4, to duct. Reinstall duct, nozzle and glove compartment.
