Blower Housing, Modification For New Spare Motor
CAUTION: Radio with microprocessor. To prevent damage to the radio microprocessor, the radio must be switched off before disconnecting the
battery ground lead.
NOTE: When installing a new blower motor on earlier cars with all climate units, the blower housing must be modified to enable the new blower motor
to be used.
Required Material:
Blower motor kit, Part Number 3537854-6, quantity 1.
Soundproofing panel, type 1 Part Number 3527931-4, quantity 1.
Modification:
1. Disconnect battery ground lead.
2. Remove soundproofing panel on passenger side.
3. Remove side panel on passenger side.
4. Disconnect control module connector.
