THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS APPLICABLE TO THE U.S. AND CANADIAN MARKETS
Replacement of complete speedometer in the event of a broken reset button is no longer necessary and will not be accepted under the new car warranty.
The reset button is now available as a spare part P/N 1347806-0 and should be used to repair the existing speedometer using the following procedure.

Remove the speedometer from the instrument panel; according to Service Manual 3:73.

Pull back the release mechanism, remove the broken assembly and clip on the replacement part.

Check the tension on the assembly. If excessive, bend the clear tab to lessen the tension to reduce any further breakage.
