THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO THE U.S. AND CANADIAN MARKETS.

If intermittent preheating system (glow plug system) complaints are experienced, which appear to be caused by the glow plug relay, perform the
following checks before replacing the relay.

Check Fuses

-

at fuse box 8, 9, 10.

-

fuse at glow plug relay.

Check Wiring Continuity

Refer to Service Manual TP30421 page 2:182 - 2:183.

Ensure ground connector particularly at the injection pump, is making good contact.

If necessary, replace early type connector (blade type) with later type (eyelet type). If complaint still exists, replace relay P/N 1324681-4.
