Blower Override Switch: Description and Operation
NOTE: It is important that the switch is connected at all times. Otherwise the heater fan will not operate until the temperature of the passenger
compartment reaches 18 °C (64 °F).
Blower Override switch on water hose
The purpose of the override switch is to switch ON the heater fan at coolant temperatures above 35°C (93°F). This is done to prevent cold air from
being blown into the passenger compartment before the heat exchanger has had time to warm up.
