1.
Raise vehicle and place stands under jacking points of body.
2.
Remove track rod attaching bolts, then the track rod, Figs. 2 and 3. Remove body end of rod first.
3.
Reverse procedure to install. Install rear axle end of rod first. Torque trailing arm to axle attaching bolt to 45 ft. lbs. and trailing arm to body bolt
to 65 ft. lbs.
