Wiper Arm: Service and Repair

Wiper Arm, Replacement
- Lift up arm.
- Lift up spindle cover while arm is raised.
- Unscrew nut partly.
- Make use of a polygrip and pull arm free. Use the partly unscrewed nut to protect the threads.
- Lift off the arm.
- Reassemble in reverse order. Torque 18 Nm (11.8 ft.lb).
- Realign wiper arm as shown:
‹› On 5-door models, the rear window arm should rest parallel to the trim molding.
