Position and drill 2 holes (4 mm) at both ends of the square sectioned rod. When drilling, make sure not to drill into the mechanism under the rod!

Remove all drilling chips with a vacuum cleaner. Apply electric tape according to illustration. The purpose of applying tape is to avoid corrosion
inside the holes.
4.
Fit and tighten the screws, nuts, and washers on both sides of the rod.
5.
Switch on the wipers and check that the parts work freely without noise.
6.
Reassemble.
