Remove valve covers.

Rotate crankshaft until No. 1 cylinder is at TDC position. The crankshaft pulley has two timing marks on it, Fig. 6. Mark #1 is the only one to be
used on valve adjustment.

With No. 1 cylinder at TDC, adjust the following valves: Intake, Nos. 1, 2 and 4; Exhaust, Nos. 1, 3 and 6 as shown, Fig. 7.

Rotate engine one full revolution clockwise to bring timing mark back in line with the ``0'' on the timing plate. Engine is now in No. 6 cylinder
firing position.

With engine positioned as outlined above, adjust the following valves: Intake, Nos. 3, 5 and 6; Exhaust, Nos. 2, 4 and 5 as shown, Fig. 8.
6.
Replace valve covers.
