Install pressure damper, P/N 1389725-1, with two hose clamps, P/N 967915-0, in the hose. Tighten hose clamps.

Note:

There is no flow direction requirement for the pressure damper

With the short end of the hose toward the fuel pump, position the damper and hose between the cross member and the chassis. Connect the hose to the
fuel pump and fuel line.

Position the pressure damper so it does not contact other components. Tighten the hose clamps at the fuel pump and fuel line.

Remove pliers 2901. Start engine and check for leakage.
