Carefully clean stub axle

Press the rubber lip sealing ring on to axle

NOTE:

Make sure sealing ring is installed properly. Sealing lip should face outward.

Pack the bearings with grease

Use the tube of grease which is included in the kit. The amount of grease in the tube is sufficient for one hub.

Pack the space between the bearing inner race and bearing cage with as much grease as possible. Also grease the races and the outer side of the bearing.
Pack the inside of the hub evenly to a depth equal to the inside diameters of the races.

Fit inner bearing and metal seal ring

Place inner bearing in hub. Press in metal seal ring using mandrel 5005 and handle 1801.

NOTE:

Make sure that the seal is flush with hub. Use drift 5082 to support hub.
