Door Window Liftrail Units

THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS A CORRECTION TO STEPS C9 AND C11 ON PAGE 8:34 AND 8:35 IN THE 760 SERVICE MANUAL.

Windows for the side doors are now available with pressed on liftrails as a unit. In addition, the liftrails for the front doors are 32 mm (1.2") shorter.
These shorter liftrails were introduced in production at VIN No. 6466.

NOTE!     In the event of installing the old type of liftrail on to the

glass as in C9 Page 8:34 in the 760 service Manual, the measurement "A" is 49-51 mm (1.93-2.01 in) not 17-19 mm (0.67-0.75 in) as
currently stated in the 760 Service Manual.
