Detach fog/aux. light assembly and turn.

-

Unscrew nut retaining motor to bracket.

-

Remove plastic hose.

-

Remove motor through fog/aux. light opening.

-

Fit new unit.

-

Reassemble in reverse order. Install wiper arm as per K1.  See: Headlamp Wiper Arm/Service and Repair

Right wiper motor:

-

Tie a piece of string approx. 1.5 m (5 feet) long to wiring harness next to terminals (in order to assist in reinstallation).

-

Remove grille.

-

Carefully raise lower part of air guide and detach the two lead ties.

-

Pull harness through to front of air guide.

-

Untie string, but leave it in front of air guide.

-

Detach fog/aux. light assembly and turn.

-

Unscrew the nut retaining motor to bracket.

-

Disconnect plastic hose.

-

Remove motor through fog/aux. light opening.

-

Fit new unit.

- Reassemble in reverse order:

‹› Remove terminals from connector on the new motor's wiring harness.

- Tie string to new harness and pull to front of air guide.

- Secure all wiring and hoses located in front of the air guide.

- Install wiper arm as per K1.  See: Headlamp Wiper Arm/Service and Repair
