AS9. Install modulator

Note:  Connections 'h' end 'l' are size M12. When replacing a modulator that has an M10 connection at 'h' or 'l', one or two brake pipes/fittings also
need to be replaced. Check with your Volvo dealer parts department.

Remove protective plugs and connect brake pipes in accordance with markings.

Note:  Correct connection of brake pipes is extremely important.

AS10. Remove rags and mop up any spillage in well

AS11. Tighten nuts on rubber mountings
AS12. Install/reconnect:

^ relays 
^ connector 
^ ground lead at rear of modulator 
^ cover over modulator

AS13. Bleed braking system.

After bleeding: Pressure test system by operating brake pedal for 30 seconds with force equivalent to heavy braking.
Inspect brake pipe connections at hydraulic modulator for fluid leakage.
Check and bleed hydraulic clutch if necessary.
Fold down carpet and refit cover over wheel housing well.
Test-drive car and check operation of system.
