Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Left Manifold
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, air intake hose, air preheating hose, PULSAIR pipe, if equipped, and the exhaust pipe.
2.
Remove exhaust manifold from cylinder head.
3.
Reverse procedure to install.
Right Manifold
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove dipstick and tube, PULSAIR pipe and EGR pipe, if equipped, and the exhaust heat shield.
2.
Disconnect exhaust pipe, then remove exhaust manifold from cylinder head.
3.
Reverse procedure to install.
