To reflect the current increase in federal tax on freon, the warranty allowance has been adjusted to include the federal tax of $1.37 per pound. Please
note, effective with Repair Orders dated on or after February 1, 1990 the reimbursement allowance for freon (P/N 8889970-3) per repair will increase to
$12.20.
Throughout the year, we will continue to monitor the price and will adjust the reimbursement allowance as necessary.
Please ensure all personnel involved in warranty administration are aware of this increase.
