Screw new crash sensor and bracket in place.
Lock washers should be used on both sides of bracket in those places where tape has been cut away. Torque screws to 4 N-m. = 35 in.lbs.
Connect connectors to standby power unit
Connect connectors at center console*. On 780, also connect connectors for seat belt tensioners.
Connect connectors to standby power unit. Attach unit to bracket.
*(Old ground lead from central relays to center console connectors may remain in place, unused).
Switch ignition on; then reconnect battery ground cable.
If SRS indicator lamp lights up (fault code displayed)
(If fault code is displayed when ignition is switched on, battery was probably connected and ignition switched on while connectors were disconnected).
