Disconnect connectors at center console
780: Also disconnect connectors to seat belt tensioners (see illus.)
IMPORTANT:
Never disconnect connector from crash sensor. This is vital to ensure good contact.
If necessary, cut away any plastic tape under bracket
Cut around bracket with knife (without damaging paint).
Remove standby power unit and crash sensor
Remove connector from standby power unit and remove unit by lifting clip.
Lift out crash sensor, including bracket and wiring harness.
Remove cut out pieces of tape, touchup paint if necessary.
