^ Using Volvo Tool 9323 or equivalent, connect the wire to the ground plate with a terminal (P/N 949211-7). If there is no ground plate, you have to

mount one (P/N 1347480). Use two screws (P/N 958236-2) and two "star" washers (P/N 942605). The hole dimension should be 4.1 mm or 5/32".
The "star" washers should be located between the body and the ground plate.

CAUTION:

Follow the procedures in the SRS Manual when reinstalling the reinforcing panel and knee bolster.

Tighten: 
M6 bolts to 8 Nm (5.8 ft. lb.) 
M8 bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lb.)
