Headlight Wiper Motor, Replacement

Version I

Note:  If wiper motors with suppressors is filled, the same type of suppressors should be used on replacement.

- Remove negative lead from battery.

- Remove wiper arm as per K1.  See: Headlamp Wiper Arm/Service and Repair

- Unplug connector. Both left and right wipers are grounded on front left wing.

- Undo nut retaining motor to bracket.

- Pull off plastic hose.

- Remove motor.

- Fit new unit.

- Reassemble in reverse order:

‹› Before installing wiper arm, ensure that motor is in park position.

- Adjust arm's park position as per K1.  See: Headlamp Wiper Arm/Service and Repair

Version II

Note:  If wiper motor with suppressors are fitted, the same type of suppressors should be used on replacement.

- Disconnect battery negative lead.

- Remove wiper arm as per K1.  See: Headlamp Wiper Arm/Service and Repair

- Separate turn signal assembly from headlight.
