INTERFERENCE PULSE FROM COIL
Applies to 850 model year 1994 with the B5252S engine with Fenix 5.2 engine management system.
Under certain conditions the ignition coil can generate interference pulse which may affect the ECM (engine control module). In some cases the DTC(s)
112 and/or 113 can be set and the MIL lamp be activated. Connecting a capacitor to the coil as described in this bulletin will help prevent the
interference pulse.
DO NOT REPLACE THE ECU.
Important:
Do not install the capacitor in cars with chassis numbers above 854- 154806 and 855 - 058770. Cars which are produced after these chassis numbers,
have this function programmed in the control unit.

METHOD:
Make a note of the radio code Turn radio off Turn ignition off Remove the battery negative terminal.
