Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair
Motor M2 Drive Cable, Replace

Wire in backrest, replace

Remove:

-

Deactivate the mechanical belt tensioner.  See: Service and Repair/With Power Seat/Deactivating/Activating the Mechanical Belt Tensioner

Battery negative cable

-

Seat from car.  See: Service and Repair/With Power Seat/Complete Seat, Replace

-

Seat trim.  See: Service and Repair/With Power Seat/Trim, Backrest, Replace

-

Impact protection (polystyrene foam).

-

Screws from wire attachment point.

-

Wire attachment point.

-

Strap from padding.

-

Pull out shaft (A) from drive gear housing.

-

Screw (B) from drive gear housing.

-

Drive gear housing (C).
