Sleeve with one tag (A), in which tag is first bent outward against tube and then inward against mast. Sleeve with two tags (B), in which one tag is bent
inward and second tag is bent outward.
Checking Antenna Resistance
INSPECTION AND REINSTALLATION OF ANTENNA CAP
- Inspect antenna cap. Replace cap if cracked (P/N 1373099-9).
- Install antenna cap. Tighten nut to 4 Nm (36 inch lbs).
MEASUREMENT OF ANTENNA RESISTANCE
- Resistance between ground (bare metal point on body adjacent to antenna mounting) and antenna lead screen should be max. 1.
- Apply anti-rust agent to protect bare metal.
