Warning Function
The trip computer has a built-in warning function for low fuel level and outside temperature. If the outside temperature is between +2 °C (36 °F) and
-5 °C (23 °F), a red diode comes on and the display shows the outside temperature. Low outside temperature warnings always take priority over
everything else. Use the info switch to return to the last function selected.
Diagnosis
The trip computer has a self-diagnosis function which can detect three kinds of faults:
-
If the function select is not connected, the display reads 'DISC'.
-
If the outside temperature sensor is not connected, or is shorted to supply, the display reads 'LO'.
-
If the outside temperature sensor is short-circuited to ground, the display reads 'HI'.
