Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

REMOVING FRONT DOOR PANEL 

 
Position the winder handle straight up

Remove:

- 

winder handle (A): Lift interlock (B) on the reverse of the winder handle. The window handle cover plate is removed (slides along the crank).
Insert a 6 mm drift (screwdriver) into the hole as illustrated while pulling out the winder handle.

- 

2 screws (G) under the folded panel. (Applies to later model years; check if the screws are there.)

- 

4 screws (C) from the underside of the door panel.

- 

Pull out pin (F) at the front edge of the panel

- 

Inner door opener handle (D) (pull straight up).

- 

1 screw (E) for loudspeaker (through panel in door panel).

Lift door panel up and off.

Remove loudspeakers wiring and connector.

Disconnect door open warning lamp cables by connector.
 
 
Install in reverse order.
