Install:

complete master cylinder with brake fluid reservoir and tighten nuts.

brake pipe, but do not tighten.
NOTE: Do not use soap solution for lubricating hoses. Use brake fluid or glycerine.
Install:
-
hoses on brake fluid reservoir.
-
connector on brake fluid level sensor.
-
battery negative lead.
[LJ5]

Fill brake fluid reservoir completely.

Tighten pipe nipples to 14 Nm (10 ft.lb) if it seems brake fluid is escaping.

Bleed braking system as per LK. Bleeding brakes. Then continue as per instructions below. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair

Bleed clutch in manual models.
Pressure-testing braking system [LJ7]
Once system has been bled, it must be pressure-tested.
