850 T-5R L5-2.3L Turbo VIN 58 B5234T5 (1995)
Install:
- new fusible link cable with the same routing as the old one. Start with connecting the cable to the cooling fan relay and continue routing the cable in
the conduit towards starter motor.
Note:
Ensure that all of the cable is in the wiring conduit, as otherwise the conduit cannot be closed. Excess wiring is coiled inside the conduit at the starter
motor end.
- cable to starter motor and tighten. (Tightening torque 20 Nm; 180 inch-lbs.)
- cover over solenoid.
Resecure the wiring inside the conduit with wire ties.
Reinstall upper section of wiring conduit and secure with wire ties.
Remove protective shield from radiator.
Installation of electric cooling fan
Install:
- fan with shroud.
- shroud spacer washers.
- relay holder, and connect fan connectors.
- vacuum hoses for EGR-valve (yellow hose to EGR-valve and white hose to inlet manifold) (where applicable).
- four screws holding electric cooling fan shroud.
- air duct to control module box.
- evap-valve (turbo).
- evap-valve hose and connector (turbo).
- air intake and intake hose to the air filter.
- upper charge air pipe to the charge air cooler (turbo).
- battery negative lead.
- check all appropriate diagnostic systems for stored DTCs.
