New routing of auxiliary equipment belt

A new auxiliary equipment belt has been introduced into production for the 850 with A/C from engine serial number 564663.

The new belt is routed so that it contacts more of the generator (GEN) drive pulley.

Note:

New belt P/N 9434341-5 can be used on early engines if the new routing is followed. No other components need to be changed.

Installing auxiliary equipment belt:

Put the belt around the crankshaft and then around the auxiliary equipment in the following order:

-

A/C compressor

-

Generator (GEN)

-

Idler pulley

-

Power steering pump

-

Belt tensioner.

Verify operation.
