This section describes 4 types of plate with a mounting plate (A, B, C and D).

A1

A-TYPE

Mounting with round spacer and welded nut.

Note

This mounting bracket has been replaced during Recall 63 with B-type. Should you discover an A-type bracket, refer to SMB 21-63 and complete
Recall 63.

A2

B-TYPE

Mounting that lies edge-to-edge with the bracket's edge. The difference between this type and the C-type (see next page) is that the reinforcement is
thicker around the shaft hole than at the ends.

Replacement for A-type. Limited production use.
