Check that the belt runs inside the edge of the tensioner pulley (not as shown in the lower illustration).

Replace pulley if there is excessive play (max. 0.5 mm or 3.5/64 inches) in the bearing.

Replace with all parts included in the repair kit if there is play in the belt tensioner arm. (Use replacement parts kit as shown at C1 or C2).
Remarks:
If the guard has a mounting plate D-type then only the required parts should be replaced, see Replacement Parts kit.
