Replacing Receiver/Drier or Suction Pipe

When replacing a receiver / drier always replace O-rings in pipes and quick-release connectors

When replacing a suction pipe follow these instructions but only replace the suction pipe.
Preparations

Disconnect the battery negative lead
-
Drain the refrigerant from the system
Removal
Removing the fresh air hoses (N4) from the control module box:

Lift the data link connector (DLC) from the control module box
-
Remove the fresh air hoses from the control module box
-
Remove the connection nozzle for the inlet hose at the fan shroud (2 clips).

Disconnect the pipe couplings at the compressor
-
Release the quick-release connectors on the receiver/drier (N8)
-
Note! Use quick-release connector puller 999 5472.

Remove the cover from the right-hand headlamp
-
Remove the screw from the bracket for the receiver / drier
-
Remove the air baffle (2 screws).
