License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair
License Plate Light, Bulb and Lamp Glass.
Replacing bulb and lamp glass

Remove the two screws holding the tamp glass (TORX 10 or crosshead screws).

Remove lamp glass carefully with a flat-bladed screwdriver.

Pull blown bulb straight out.

Replace bulb.

Test
-
Replace lamp glass if it shows signs of cracking
NOTE: RH and LH lamp glasses in 5-door models have different part numbers.
Cut off guide pin in earlier models which do not have a hole for this.

Do not tighten screws too hard as lamp glass is plastic.
