Replacing sun visor with illuminated vanity mirror
This service bulletin describes how to replace the sun visor with illuminated vanity mirror.
Method
Remove sun visor.
Carefully pull out cable as far as it will go. Cut the cable as close to the sun visor as possible.
Take the new sun visor
Cut off cable 100 mm (4 in.) from the sun visor. Splice the vanity mirror cable with the cut cable in the car. Use 2 butt connectors 956956-7.
Splice cables of the same color.
Pull back cable as far as it will go and screw sun visor into place.
