RECALL CAMPAIGN 75 DESCRIPTION
Volvo Cars of North America, Inc., and Volvo Canada Limited have announced a safety recall affecting certain 1995 model year Volvo 850 series
vehicles. Approximately 500 vehicles in the U.S. and 63 vehicles in Canada are affected.
There is a possibility that the threaded insert which attaches the seat belt catch to the front seat may not meet Volvo's specifications. This may cause the
seat belt to have insufficient restraining properties in severe collisions. It is important to note that this threaded insert is used only on vehicles with power
operated front seats. The affected vehicles may have one or two power seats.
