locking clips do not meet white locking sleeve.

Installing [LC8]

Note: Brake pedal must be depressed.

Install connector.

-

Install brake light switch. Check switch positioning in bracket.

Push brake light switch home. You should hear a distinct click as the locking clips clip onto the bracket.

Remove pedal jacket.

Pull brake pedal gently up as far as it will go. The brake light switch will then adjust itself automatically.

Rock (do not pull) gently on the brake light switch and checking that it is firmly in place.

Check that brake light is working.

-

In cars with automatic gearshift (transmission) and shift-lock, check that shift-lock is working.

-

Replace sound insulation.
