5. Two sleeves, P/N 9153007-1, must be installed in the steering knuckle bolt holes as illustrated when replacing shock absorbers on cars with the
later steering knuckle. This is to eliminate play between bolt and hole and ensure that the camber is correct.
NOTE: The bolts may be tight in the sleeves.
6. Attach suspension strut to steering knuckle (stub axle carrier). Use new bolts and nuts. Tighten to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) and through further 90°.
7. Transfer existing bracket to new shock absorber
8. Attach stabilizer link (anti-roll link) to suspension strut with new nut.
