Cleanliness:
Important! Pay particular attention to cleanliness when working on the transmission, particularly when inspecting and, if necessary, changing the oil.
Clean around the filler pipe and the drain plug. Always use clean containers. Make sure that the workplace is free of dirt and dust. Make sure that you
do not get any oil on your skin. Check oil level in the transmission only if oil leaks are suspected.
Transmission fluid grade: ATF oil which meets demands for both Dexron II E and Ford Mercon
Radio codes:
NOTE: Make a note of the radio code before disconnecting the battery leads and the car is without voltage supply. Re-enter the code when the work has
been completed.
