Reinstall torque converter
Lubricate torque converter throat with ATF oil.
NOTE: Take care not to damage the oil pump during installation.
Make sure torque converter is as far into the transmission as possible. Check with a ruler. The distance between the cover and retaining tabs should be
approximately 14 mm (0.55").
