NEW NUT FOR REAR WHEEL HUB

Applies to Service Manual 6, 7 (65, 72 - 77) Rear suspension 850 1992-

A new nut for the rear wheel hub will be introduced Into production on all 850 models.

The introduction of the new wheel hub will result in the following changes:

- The shaft end thread size has been increased from 20 mm to 22 mm.
- New, self-locking nut with 22 mm thread.
- The new nut is re-usable.

Note:

The rear wheel hub threads must be oiled before reinstalling the nut

Tightening torque for the new nut is 120 Nm (89 ft.lbs) + 35°.
