REAR WASHER JET ADJUSTMENT
The 850 station wagons have adjustable washer jets for the tailgate with effect from chassis number 855-020713. The adjustable jet is available as a
replacement part (P/N 9151094-1).
Earlier types of jet can be replaced by the new type.
Washer jet adjustment
Fixed jets cannot be adjusted for direction and have a larger depression around the outlet (the jet on the left as illustrated).
The adjustable type of jet allows the water to be directed
- Insert a needle in the jet outlet and turn to the desired position.
- Adjust the jet so the water strikes the rear window at the third heater wire from the top and angled as in the picture.
