Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Front Wiper Unit and Motor

NOTE:  

-

If link arms are out of position, start repairs at "Wiper Motor Linkage."

-

If special radio interference suppressor is fitted, you must reinstall it before releasing the vehicle to it's owner.

Removal:

-

Turn ignition off.

-

Check that wiper motor is in off position, move wiper switch to wipe position, then to off.

Removal

-

Undo nut, do it up a few turns to protect threads on wiper mechanism shaft.

-

Remove wiper arm from wiper mechanism by holding nut with polygrip pliers and pushing arm off.

-

Remove nut.

-

Remove cover panel screws.

-

Undo cover panel drain hoses.

-

Remove Cover panel.
