Alarm Module: Tools and Equipment

General

The control module can only be reprogramed using the programing box, P/N 1399141-9. The following functions can be changed:

Automatic reactivation

The alarm is reactivated automatically if a door, hood (bonnet) or trunk (boot) are not opened within 2 minutes of switching the alarm off (e.g.
accidentally).

NOTE: Doors are locked on reactivation.

Acknowledgement signals

Visible or audible acknowledgement signals can be changed or switched off altogether.

Horn

The audible signal can be changed from an intermittent to a constant signal. (The siren should use a constant signal to be loud enough).

Panic alarm

The panic alarm (visible and audible signals) can be switched off.

Programing box PIN 1399141-9

Connect programing box to car or mains unit's cigarette lighter socket using the interface lead (terminal B1). The power source must be capable of
supplying at least 800 mA at 12 - 13.6 V DC. A suitable 220 V mains unit with cigarette lighter socket is P/N 1363588-3.

Connect lead with Alligator clips to B2, connecting ground to the black socket and +12 V to the red socket.

Set switch to ON.
The red "POWER ON" light will come on and the lower display line will read INSERT UNIT!".
Connect alarm control module to programing box relay terminals.
Connect the green connector to the top of the control module.

The current activation mode will now appear in the lower display line as follows:

Activated mode:

"UNIT IS ARMED"

Deactivated mode:

"UNIT IS DISARMED"
