Guard Alarm II Basic Components:
3. Indicator LED
Indicator LED (NON-FACTORY) Used In Basic Alarm W/diode On Speaker Grill
The indicator LED designed for the basic alarm can be connected. In cars with ECC, this LED is integral with the sun sensor. In either case, the LED is
located in the center of the instrument panel. If the alarm was not installed at the factory, a separate indicator LED is included with the set. Install the
diode on the driver's side speaker frame.
The LED works as follows:
Activating alarm:
LED flashes once a second.
Alarm activated, fault somewhere in alarm loops:
LED lights up and stays on for 5 seconds, then flashes once a second.
Alarm has been triggered:
LED flashes once a second.
Deactivation once alarm has been triggered:
LED stays lit until ignition is switched on.
Alarm is in service position:
LED flashes once every three seconds.
